This week for my motivational Monday, I provide you with an incredible Ted Talk that I was lucky enough to be shown just last year. It is about how we as cognitive beings can change our own mind set using simple non-verbal commands. I’m talking about power poses. The speaker discusses how standing in a high-power pose for 2 minutes can increase your levels of testosterone and decrease your levels of cortisol. She even draws on her own personal story of an accident that she fought her way back from.
This is for those of you who think that you aren’t able to succeed or for those who think that confidence is not something you can achieve. The speaker puts an emphasis on not just “faking it till you make it” but actually faking it until you become it. This is absolutely worth the watch, you wont regret it.
